The usage of biometric technologies in immigration processes greatly contributes to the performance of border control agents, by adding agility and reliability in the identification of individuals. In addition, it improves visitors’ perception of the quality of care provided.
The segment of Transport is considered one of the verticals with greater potential of use of biometric technologies due to the large contingent of people who, daily, needs to move through the cities using public or private options and also by the complexity in the transport of loads carried out in a continental country like Brazil.
The greatest contribution of the use of biometrics to the improvement of the activities related to the people and cargo transportation is related to the increase of control and security in the processes and to the reduction of frauds and deviations in the operations.

The Human Resources area is undoubtedly one of the most adherent to the use of biometrics and other identification technologies. In fact that there is a need to identify people in practically all its chain of operations and processes – Recruitment and Selection, Admission/Resignation, Personnel Administration, Training and Development, Remuneration and Benefits and Internal Communication.
The Education market is considered one of the verticals with the greatest potential of use of biometric technologies, because these solutions can be applied to different processes like attendance control (phisical or online) and the prevention of fraud in selective processes and exams.
The greatest contribution of the use of biometrics to improve educational processes is mainly related to the increase of control and security in the operations and the offer of greater convenience in a social environment increasingly impacted by new technologies and forms of interaction.
